It has been a long time since I did X. I was wondering if anything has changed or new stuff learned. I have one of the original books about it but it lacking the info I now need.
Has it been determined the best rate of use per year?
What about using it with all the new drugs many people are on like Zyrtec or Prozac?
What is the current price? I used to pay 10-20.
Is their any discrepancies in quailty product ?
Where is it at on the legal level? What is a felony level of use?

Re: Questions?
04/20I suggest you check out mdma.net
The only estimation I heard so far is that up to four times per year should be OK, as long as you take only 1 pill at a time.
Zyrtec is against allergies... I don't know if it interacts with extasy in any way. I read that taking two pills of Prozac when you come down from E helps prevent brain damage.
The price depends on where you are... here in Switzerland it's $10-15. It's still totally illegal. Except for use in psychotherapy. -

Re: Questions?
04/20The prozac thing is a myth. Do not take prozac.
Take an antioxidant. If MDMA causes ANY sorts of brain damage, it is due to free radicals and an antioxidant will take care of that. Mind you...the brain damage thing is now being exposed as the false PROPOGANDA that it really is. -

Re: Questions?
04/20My understanding was that it fired some of the spinal cord fluid and that could take up to a year to replace. The Prozac thing did not make sense to me from a chemical stand point. -
-
Re: Questions?
04/21No...I don't know where the spinal cord thing came from.
MDMA works on the seratonin receptors in the brain, and the only thing that MIGHT mess with the spinal cord at all would have to be something that they are mixed with. In most cases nothing worse than speed (and generally the legal stuff like Ephedrine or Caffeine).
The whole "Hallucinogens make your spine bleed/drip blood/constrict/whatever" is a myth as well. Most of these chemicals once again work on the seratonin receptors within the brain.
I would highly recommend checking out www.erowid.com for some really good, accurate research data.

Re: Questions?
04/21However I will say this.
Bulk up on 5HTP. This is the precursor to seratonin for the body, and if you start loading your body with doses of 5HTP a couple days before the ecstacy dose, and for a couple days following, it will heighten the effect of the MDMA and it will lessen the depression afterward. Also the better you keep yourself hydrated throughout the experience and while you are coming down, the better you'll feel the day after. Most of the crappy feeling (non emotional) you get after rolling is due to stress on the muscles (which stretching can help with before and after) and from dehydration.
One of the only other dangers that people have experienced in the past with MDMA use is that over overheating and overhydration. If you're going to be doing this in a private situation where you have a good control on the environment you are in, then the first problem should not arise. The overhydration issue might be something to keep in the back of your head though. What happens if you drink TOO much water, is that the body starts expelling too many necessary minerals, and you end up with a potassium deficiency. Potassium is necessary for the cells in the body to transport materials into and out of the cells...and lacking this can cause multiple problems. Just so long as you're not drinking a gallon of water through the experience, you should be fine.
Another thing you might want to try doing, is take a teaspoon of Milk of Magnesia when you dose. The magnesium helps fight the jaw-clenching, and the antacid effect stops stomach acids from destroying the MDMA before it is absorbed into your bloodstream. You know...more bang for your buck =P.
The final thing I suggest...there is a non-prescription medication called Piracetam that SERIOUSLY enhances the effects of MDMA...as well as almost ANY psychoactive substance. Piracetam is a neurotropic that increases brain activity and increases bloodflow to the brain. Taken on a regular basis as a supplement, Piracetam just helps you stay more focused and clearheaded. With MDMA...it does wonders. =) Piracetam can only be purchased online.
Have fun! -

Re: Questions?
04/21Nice, Skywise. Yeah, I'd also recommend against combining MDMA with a few other meds, especially SSRI's (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, etc.). Essentially you run the risk of Serotonin Syndrome. Here's a nice little review article for your perusal:
www.med.utah.edu/poison/he...l4_No4.pdf
If nothing else read about the symptoms, print out Table 2 on page 2 - "Drugs that increase Serotonin" - and tape it to your brain. Basically it's best to avoid combining anything on this chart.
Also, in addition to hypokalemia (low potassium), hyponatremia (low sodium) is a real risk if you drink large amounts of water. Just monitor your urine output; this will tell you if you need to take in more H20, regardless of what you're doing.
Please know what you're doing. Natural selection has already developed quite an efficient method for taking care of naiveté. In addition nobody wants to clean up someone else's mess due to lack of responsibility.
Be safe - Peace. -

Re: Questions?
01/20I would like to recomment a very fine book on the topic:
Published in 2001 by M.D. Julie Holland: "Ecstasy: The Complete Guide"
Read it and I don't think you'll have any questions left that can be answered with science :9 -

Re: Questions?
01/02is it possible someone has the text online and available for browsing? -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Questions?
01/02Yeah I read Julie Holland's book. Read no further. Also I used to work for DanceSafe.org which has always been another popular resource. Our founder Emanuel Sferios was featured in a chapter in that book.
